Thuppakki has made a Box Office Collection of Rs 45.60 Crores in Tamil Nadu

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s AR Murgadoss directed Thuppakki has taken the Box Office by Storm. Thuppakki has made a Box Office Collection of Rs 45.60 Crores in Tamil Nadu alone during Nov 13 to 18. As per reports Thuppakki Box Office collections would be near 55-60 Crores if we include Kerala, Andhra and Overseas Collections.

In Chennai alone Thuppakki has made Box Office Collection of 4.85 crores. The movie has got very very positive response from audience and critics which will help the movie for a long run at the Box Office.

Thuppakki was released on November 13 worldwide in over 2,000 screens and the movie is about a Army captain Vijay, who comes to Bombay on a vacation, but gets himself involved in a terrorist scheme.

Thuppakki is all set to make new Box Office Records in Kollywood.

Thuppakki as made a Box Office Collections of Rs 10 Crores

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s AR Murgadoss directed Thuppakki has taken an extraordinary Box Office Opening at Tamil Nadu and Kerala Box Office. Thuppakki has already been declared has a Box Office super hit by trade.

As per trade sources Thuppakki as made a Box Office Collections of Rs 10 Crores in Tamil Nadu alone for the first day. In Kerala for Day one Thuppakki has made about 90 lakhs.

Superstar Rajinikanth has seen Thuppakki twice till now and that he is thrilled with the movie. Superstar said the movie is just “fantastic and brilliant”.

Thuppakki Box Office Collections are very good and the movie is is expected to create new Box Office records in Tamil Nadu and also in South & overseas markets.

Kalaipuli S Thanu, producer of the film said “Thuppakki is firing on all cylinders at the worldwide box-office. It has taken one of the biggest ever opening ever and definitely ‘Thambi’ Vijay’s biggest hit. I would like to thank AR Murgadoss, Vijay and the entire team for the film’s success.”

Thuppakki team will be hosting a success meet today (November 15) for the press in Chennai. Vijay, A.R.Murugadoss and rest of the team will be present at the success meet.

Jilla will release for 2014 Pongal

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Jilla will release for 2014 Pongal. Nesan the director of Jilla has confirmed that and coming Pongal will be a Jilla Pongal for all vijay fans.

Vijay once again pairs up with Kajal Agarwal in the movie, after their recent blockbuster Thuppakki. Vijay will be seen playing a police officer’s role the movie. As per the latest new from Kollywood, it is said that Kajal Aggarwal, will also seen playing cop role in the movie.

Along with Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal, Mohanlal, Mahat Raghavendra and Parotta Soori also plays important roles in the movie. Jilla is produced by R. B. Choudary and the music for the film has been scored by D. Imman.
